Our thoughts and feelings have a direct impact on how our bodies function.   • Anxiety can be thought of as a recurring thought pattern. The thoughts we think send direct messages to our nervous system, and we experience a physiological response. By helping the mind create new thought patterns, anxiety can be unlearned, and the mind and body can learn new habits and responses. See also Anxiety, Stress.
  • Stress has physiological effects. When we experience stress, the body engages the Sympathetic Nervous System "fight or flight" response. We have an increase in blood pressure, blood moves away from the organs and to the skeletal muscles. When the body is in fight or flight, it prepares to run away or fight off a threat, and its energies are directed away from the immune system. Stress is a major contributor to all our chronic illnesses. By learning new mental strategies, you can increase your ability to handle stress, feel greater sense of calm, and increase your well-being, which is also good for your immune system!   • Chronic Pain is an indicator that something is wrong in your body. It's meant to be an alert signal so that you will give the area of your body the attention it needs. Sometimes the signal can become confused,as if the signal is set on high alert all the time. Through internal awareness techniques, we can "negotiate" with the pain signal, lowering your body's pain response so that you can increase your focus with healing. (We never dissassociate the pain response completely).

 

  • Allergies are increasing and can be a contributor to your overall well-being. Allergies are a mistake of the immune system. We can take an accounting of allergies, and then through advanced processes of NLP and Hypnosis, re-educate your immune system to be better at identifying the self from what is foreign.
  • AutoImmune Challenges are also a mistake of the immune system. The path to healing and recovery can be helped through proper nutrition, rest, and positive mental attitude. With autoimmune challenges, typically, there is an underlying internal conflict which may or may not be consciously known. I work with clients to help them identify the root mental and emotional causes behind illness, and clear them! What might be possible for your recovery?
